🇫🇷 France plans to track cold wallets — if the amendment is adopted, owners of non-custodial wallets with crypto worth over €100,000 will be required to annually report its value to the tax authorities. A fine of up to €10,000 is provided for violations. Currently, this is only an amendment to the 2027 budget, approved by the committee, and it still has to go through parliamentary discussion.
